Helping You Home team have partnered with Lifeline24 Ltd to offer free installation of the lifeline alarm units to Maidstone residents being discharged from acute care or to prevent a hospital admission.

Free for installation (subject to criteria). The resident will be liable for the alarm rental at the discounted rate of £11.49 per month or £105 per year, paid directly to Lifeline24 Ltd.



Criteria to access the lifeline service is as follows; This requirement needs to have been identified by a healthcare professional, lives within the Maidstone borough (any tenure of property), lives alone, is 65 years and over (can offer a degree of flexibility), has had a home safety check completed prior (or at the same time) to having lifeline installed, consents to having a frailty assessment done by the complex care nurse at home following discharge.



Alternatively, for local residents that do not meet the Helping You Home criteria but would still benefit from the discounted rate, they can contact Lifeline24 (www.lifeline24.co.uk) directly and mention ‘Maidstone’ to access the same rate.
