Get Involved is our volunteering project for people affected by mental health or substance misuse who work with our handy man to give something back to the community by undertaking gardening for those unable to do it themselves.



The service is open to people in or near the Maidstone Borough and who are: isolated, living alone (and or care for someone who is disabled/unable to carry out the work themselves), Golding Homes Tenant (subject to specific circumstances), is not physically able to do the work themselves, who don’t have any friends or family to assist/help, who are unable to access part of their garden safely or have no safe or usable space and have disputes with neighbours due to garden being overgrown.



We can offer: One off gardening help, garden clearance’s (we cannot take any rubbish or garden waste away), fixing/replacing fencing, cutting/trimming overgrown bushes and small trees, repair of existing slabs/paths/steps and fixing fences and back doors.
