Our telephone befriending service is for anyone who is housebound, has very little friends or family support, a carer (of someone that is now more difficult to communicate with due to cognitive issues), recently bereaved, currently more inactive due to a hospital procedure that is stopping them from socialising, lacking in confidence, in need of a cheerful pick me up weekly or in need of encouragement to join local groups and access support services.
